What a fantastic 2013 Summer German/California Exchange! On behalf of all of us in District 5220, I want to thank the Exchange Students, Host Families,Local Rotary Clubs, and those who participated in special events put on by the Host Families, like the special Disneyland trip ,Laser Tag, and the Good-bye BBQ party; those who participated in the Rotary Club youth exchange events, like the Inbound Meeting sponsored by the Escalon Rotary Club; the Rotary Clubs who invited the exchange students to make presentations at their local Club meeting and the Yosemite trip put on by the Yosemite Rotary Club and the Modesto Sunrise Rotary Club; Alan and Jeanne Bailey of the Modesto Sunrise Rotary Club for Chaperoning the US students during the exchange; those who promoted the District 5220 Rotary Youth Exchange, and Manfred Grabsch for selecting such a wonderful group of German Exchange students!
The German exchange students and their parents relayed, upon their arrival in Germany, to Manfred and Frauke Grabsch that this was such a great trip for the students.
What a wonderful way to build International Relationships.
Planning for next Year

Please email me at email@example.com if your interested in working on the committee, hosting or leading a part of the 2014 exchange.
